ECDL 4 Basic Concepts of IT
Course Aims
This course is designed to help you to obtain the knowledge required for ECDL Module 1 "Basic Concepts of Information Technology" (Syllabus 4.0). You will learn about the technologies used in computers and networks and about the impact of IT on society.
You will be able to describe the hardware components that make up a PC, common software applications used in business and the home, and the benefits of networks and the internet. You will also learn about IT security, safety, legal, and privacy issues. |
Assumed Knowledge
No previous experience or knowledge of using computer hardware or software is assumed. |
